Shriji once went to a disciple's house who resides in Ahmedabad. Shriji while giving discourse on the obstacles which come in the spiritual path said The greatest Sadhana is prudence. A disciple should be able tolerate criticism, should be able to move ahead on the spiritual path despite of physical and mental hardships. Regular japa, meditation, prayer, listening to discourse, service to God helps one to achieve his spiritual goal Self-Realization.

Similarly, it is essential to give rest to the digestive system of our body so that it functions smoothly. To achieve this, in our Indian scriptures it is suggested to observe fast once in 15 days on Ekadashi which helps to keep the body healthy.
